4” engineered hardwood skeleton.
The skeleton looks like a picture frame underneath the surface material of the door. The skeleton is made of LVL (laminated veneer lumber)is the strongest man-made wood material.
sound dampening & insulated core.
Our door core is made of high-density polyurethane foam. This is the material that fills in-between the picture frame skeleton. This provides more than 6x the insulation of a wood doors (R-15 to be exact), and sound proofing from outside noise.
